@northernassist the next 2 Knaresborough trains are cancelled and I am booked on one of them and need to get home. I have received no refund and the only other available routes is to go from Leeds to York then to Knaresborough.

@northernassist I tried to claim a full refund but it would not let me.

@RyanSaynor Thanks for confirming, is your ticket an advance single? If so, this would be valid only on the direct route Leeds to Knaresborough and the 1829 or 2006 service I am afraid. You can claim a full refund if you wish to book another ticket^AH

@northernassist I’ve booked on 19:29. This one and the one before are cancelled so the next service is probably gonna be overfilled and I need to get home. I saw there is a 19:30 via York or one earlier but not all the services are northern. Is there any chance I can hop on a service like that?

There is another option for a 7:30 train to York then Knaresborough that is both northern. Is there any chance of me getting on this train maybe?

The only other option that works other than waiting hours more.

However, one of the trains is a cross country. Am I able to receive a full refund for my original ticket or can I still get on the trains to get home?

The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.
