@AdamPage85 Surely some is also due to the majority of SBC churches having plateaued or in full decline. Cutting CP giving allows these churches to hang on a little longer to in house ministries as giving drops and inflation makes the cost of ministry go up.

Spent the morning pouring into preachers in Williamsburg (VA). Nathan - a 17-year-old with a call on his life - sat up front listening intently to the former 17-year old preacher talk about pastoral and pulpit ministry. Please pray for Nathan.

@JakeAllen1 @BaptistBlogger Interestingly, Jake, most of what you listed here is includes in that 85k per missionary. The total Global Engagement budget last year was right at $300M which includes far more than just salaries. Divide that by the # of Ms on the field, and you get the $85k/missionary number.

Grateful for news from @Jeff_Iorg that @SBCExecComm will consider a budget that delivers on the promise to allocate 51% of @SBCCP to @IMB_SBC. That, along with another adjustment, will increase CP to IMB by approximately $1m and fully support 12 new missionaries to the nations!
