A look back at a fantastic @Big12Conference Men's Basketball Championship! #MarchMadness

The @Big12Conference Women's Championship featured the first competition on a glass floor. The action on that floor was just as exciting.

@KCRoosTennis started off the year with a warm-up match at Kansas.

It's not in the followers, likes or shares, in how much money I make. All of that can fade & 1 day will. I'm not going to try to hold on to that which I can (& eventually will) lose. My identity is in who I am - a child of God. I am loved immensely by the Creator of the universe.

It can be taken away, slowly or in an instant. Skills will eventually fail. Pro athletes have felt lost after retiring. Why? They tried to find their identity in them. My identity is not in being a photographer, jobs I get or don't get, my best photo or the ones I miss.

I highly enjoy sports. I enjoy watching them. I enjoy playing them. I have enjoyed coaching them and reffing them. I enjoy photographing them. The hard work. The emotion. The dedication. The grit. The beauty. The pain. But sports need to stay in their place. Ball cannot be life.

@TulsaVolleyball put up a good fight in the battle of the Hurricanes against @CanesVB in Round 1 of the @NCAAVolleyball Championship Thur. in Lawrence. It's games like these that are so much fun to shoot. Players were laying it all out on the line with some really good rallies.
