During a TikTok live organized by journalist Michel Ngatchou, President-elect Issa Tchiroma Bakary first confirmed that he would return to Cameroon if the people show that they are ready to fight for the liberation of the country from the hands of the CPDM regime. He then revisited an episode of what he says he went through in Nigeria after leaving Cameroon. Recalling that he is “not a pawn of the regime,” Issa Tchiroma Bakary stated that he was “arrested and handcuffed” in Nigeria by “soldiers armed with Kalashnikov rifles.” He nevertheless said that he was released thanks to the intervention of certain individuals whose names he prefers not to disclose. It should be recalled that the TikTok live was interrupted, and Issa Tchiroma Bakary had to leave abruptly following the intervention of Banjul, which reportedly received a call from Yaoundé ordering the broadcast to be stopped. This was later confirmed by Michel Ngatchou a few minutes afterward. #MMINews
