Very possible Blaney could be in a contract year. He signed a “long-term” extension in August of 2022. So if it was a 4 year deal, he would be an FA at the end of the year. Since he signed that contract he has won 1 championship and 11 races. So he would arguably be the most sought after FA, along with Kyle Busch. If the 48 does come open, Mr. H would throw everything but the kitchen sink at YRB to get him in that ride. You could say the same for JGR if Denny retires.

It’s the model of the helmet, Bauer 4500. It’s a VERY old design that was discontinued in 2023. It has been around since the 90s. Was first released under the Cooper brand. It’s not a safe helmet compared to the newer models, but a lot of hockey players don’t like to make changes to their gear.
