An extraordinary statement. It doesn't take issue with the underlying allegation, and Ratcliffe surely would've if it were inaccurate. In any other administration, the question would be why weren't POTUS/VPOTUS briefed, but this one portrays ignorance as an exonerating datapoint.

Frustrating when you honestly can’t figure out if views expressed by a congressman reflect simple garden variety ignorance or instead constitute a deliberate effort to incite. Either way, the result is to promote more violence in American communities. Florida deserves better.
