Without providing activity for her mind and body, the cat may react with rough play, potentially resulting in bite/scratch incidents. Mizuky then sniffs the assessor's hand and leans in hard for cheek rubs. She allows all petting. When pet along body her tail begins to swish moderately. Mizuky is slightly tense during pick up, but after being set down, comes forward to solicit more cheek pets. Batman has been constipated since his arrival to the shelter and has needed medication to aid his defecation. Batman also has a heart murmur of unknown origin. Batman will need daily maintenance with their medical condition and further follow up with outside vet care. Popeye is a cute 5-month old gray and white tabby with a congenital eye condition called "sunken eye". His right eye is fully functional but it sits back farther than his left eye, resulting in poor depth perception. For the first few months of his life, he was very scared because he couldn't see well, so he simply hid from the world. Once we had him in foster for a couple of weeks he realized how great his life indoors could be, and he really came out of his shell. He loves to play and be petted, and he starts purring and making biscuits as soon as he sees a person walk into the room. He's an adorable playful kitten who needs a loving and patient family to work with him as he learns to live with his vision issue.
