He is the most insufferable, performative cunt in the English Premier League.
The over exaggerated speaking so that everyone knows exactly what he is saying is pathetic. Weirdo bastard.
Premier League@premierleague
This title race is going down to the wire. 👊
English

@StoneDavidson96 @MattBakerSTL @stlCITYsc And maybe that’s why Damet has favored him. Because he understands the system and his jobs on the pitch. Just thinking out loud here, I have no credible sources
English

@StoneDavidson96 @MattBakerSTL @stlCITYsc I’ll agree that I’d like to try Totland over Wallem but we aren’t there at training every day. And one of the frustrating parts of Wallem is that he is always getting into the right positions but he has had some major decision making issues. Never chooses the right option
English

You have to be kidding me. Never seen anything like it. 15’ apart. The same exact play run up and the same exact failure by the @stlCITYsc corner defense. Now 0-2 at 37’
Roldan wide open on the back post and scores AGAIN.
Doesn’t matter how good your build up or press are if you’re going to be that poor in the same exact way on set pieces. #AllForCITY
English

@MattBakerSTL @stlCITYsc Maybe this performance will finally wake Damet up.
English

@MattBakerSTL @stlCITYsc 2 goals on .36 xG, fuck right off. I considered turning the game off, albeit some wifely influence involved, but that was unacceptable at any competitive level
English

@golfhack89 @RoccSTL Not odd, it’s good to protect him. Especially seeing how much he struggled with the physicality of the game
English

Joyner not on the bench is a massive disappointment.
Goalie, 2 CBs, a wingback & w DM all make sense but then there’s the other 4 spots for R10/9
SBJ, Löwen, Córdova, McSorley
I guess it’s not surprising given that group, for various reasons, but still want to see investment.
Matthew Rocchio@RoccSTL
MacNaughton for Orozco with the injury was easy money Teuchert back in the lineup is a little surprising, because that’s the look that Seattle got when they faced off last time—I expected Damet to give them a different look Does this push Wallem wide more? #AllForCITY
English

@BallWatchingSTL I think it more about protecting Joyner, he just played 90 minutes 3 days ago
English

Big game for MacNaughton before Fallou and Mbacke get up to speed. Löwen on the bench is some of the news this team needs to crank it up a notch.
No Joyner in the squad?? Y’all know how we feel about that #AllForCITY

English

@Irwin22D @ChatCityTactics Not sure if he is ready for starts, but I certainly want to see him get more minutes
English

@ChatCityTactics Am I wrong for wishing McSorley should get some starts?
English

My XI graphic is not cooperating, but the Córdova experiment (it was bad) is hopefully over with Cedi fit.
MacDreamy for Jazy is a medical bummer.
Might be the strongest bench in #AllForCITY history.

Adam Wharton is the complete modern midfielder composed on the ball, sharp in his reading of the game, and relentless out of possession.
He dictates tempo, breaks lines with ease, and isn’t afraid to get stuck in when it matters. Intelligent, technical, and hardworking he plays beyond his years.
A rare profile. A serious talent. A signing that elevates any midfield
Liverpool MUST make this happen 🙏

English

@BearsShowYo Oh boy, it is an unbelievably fun ride with banter and discourse 365 days a year. You are about to become cultured and you should be fucking psyched about that.
English

@Lastofus2090 21/22 and its not even close.
Putting Gakpo and Jones in the starting line up made it even worse.
Where is Szoboszlai & Jota?
English

@RoccSTL Durkin has been boss this year, this is coming from a guy who really doubted his ability. Craziest part to me is that he has massively improved just his first touch. And it was really elevated his play, his first touch was his biggest issue that I could see, I’ve been humbled
English

@phillgrooms I tried to go last night but no way I was paying $45 a pop for my wife and I to go. It was too expensive. Im a season ticket holder and life has been busy and I didn’t get my ticket through that, my bad. But I can’t be the only person in all of St. Louis that had that experience.
English

When St. Louis FC got record crowds in the Open Cup to see them face a MLS team, but no one came to the league games, I was annoyed.
Now that we have a MLS team, and Open Cup matches get less interest, I’m even more annoyed.
In both cases I feel that fans are missing out on something special, but maybe my obsession is incredibly niche…and unusual. I’ll call this a humble lament.
Nathan Tucker@SportWatcherPRO
When I was going to Saint Louis FC games in Fenton they drew more than St. Louis City draws for the US Open Cup, which is less than ideal #AllForCITY
English

@TaylorTwellman He is not ready for first team football imo. But a highlight that everyone is seeing and a local legend sayin, “imagine not playing this kid more” is hyping him. Dangerous game to play imo, not trying to come at you promise, we just need to handle Joyner’s progress the right way
English

@justjeff314 @STLSoccerNews Lots of potential and I hope he finds his feet here
English

@justjeff314 @STLSoccerNews Physicality being the most obvious need for improvement. I’ve been thinking to myself he needs more minutes, but watching him last night, against a lower division side I fully understood why his minutes have been limited. 100% not fully ready, but he can do a job off the bench
English

Willing to give Damet some leeway here since we're only 7 matches in, but when you have multiple people who cover MLS for a living (Taylor, Doyle, et al) wondering why Joyner doesn't see minutes on a team desperate for offense and creativity, it does raise questions as to why.
