@Freezebadger I don't know what a "good" therapist is, but the ones that I tried, weren't for me. Medicine worked better for me but everyone's case is different. Talk to your physician to get a recommendation, then be explicit about your goals with your therapist.

@Freezebadger I saw 3 different therapists over the course of 4 months and did not notice any improvements. Talking over things didn't improve my motivation or drive. I eventually got referred to a psychiatrist and tried some anti-depressants, which started having an impact.
