When people are given space to speak without talking over each other, the discussion stays focused and constructive. Staff stated point blank that they do not house illegal migrants. Most would have stopped and argued there. Residents instead asked about the process: once someone who entered irregularly is granted status, they become eligible as homeless applicants. That is the asylum-to-homeless loop being exploited.
