I used to take classes in Japanese. I don't remember much since it was so long ago but I am getting back in to it. I don't understand Katakana the most. I think I will always suck at Katakana. I just don't get what makes an English word something.

@hiiragikaede313 I struggle with sounds. Since you see letters and think "E will = エ" but, even my name that starts with "E" actually is "イ" in katakana. Because I have an accent in English, it gets even more difficult to figure out how to make a word Katakana ;-; I hope I get better some day.

@RyniDraws In Japan, when typing on a computer, we choose Roman alphabet input. To type the hiragana character "え," we type "E." Therefore, "E" can be read as both "ee" and "e." This might be difficult for people from other countries.😓
