@Ryxa41 If you want higher level and top player you have to pay them and made organization profitable as a whole and you cant do that with insecurity and chaos within European basketball.Thats why you need Dubai ect.FIFA doesnt need Al Hilal in Champions league for same reasons.

Super excited about the UAE derby in the Euroleague. Also, happy to hear that Qatar might be interested to join in the future. But I'm sad that there are no news about a potential Saudi club. We must have a team from Saudi Arabia if we want to be a serious business.

A new Middle East basketball project is emerging with ambitions to enter the European basketball landscape in the coming years 👀 The project is expected to follow a path similar to Dubai Basketball: basketne.ws/4v5PWYq

@Bettingsks NBA clubs compete only in the NBA and are all from the same region. Meanwhile, European clubs try to hopelessely compete with Euroleague shareholders in the domestic leagues. I stand for the spirit of the sport and not the profit of 13 clubs across the whole Europe.
English

@Ryxa41 Basketball doesnt generate money as football.NBA is same system. You need financialy stable clubs for quallity competition and good organization. That would be impossible by adding random league winners.Bunch of Eurocup winners couldnt afford EL.
English

@Bettingsks Ok, I'll answer. I'm not upset about geography. I am upset that Euroleague is not based on sporting merit. You can't qualify through domestic leagues. And then some rich people in UAE can simply create a club and buy they're way in.

@ChemGiannisHC I am a small part of the Urbonus podcast crew. I don't work in the website. I don't write articles, I don't break news and I don't do posts on social media for BasketNews. So I'm not the right person to answer questions about all that.
English

@Bettingsks As far as I'm aware there is no such thing as "Lithuanian race"
English

@ChemGiannisHC The only problem is that I don't work in this website
English

@Ryxa41 Rytis since you work in this website, could you elaborate on the use of this specific picture accompanying the said article?
thank you
English

@pet_rides I don't write. I don't create headlines. I'm not a journalist. I'm just an occasional member of a podcast.
English

@Ryxa41 Everything is done only to protect the traditions and values of European basketball from those capitalist Americans

@A39376A @Cockneys_Glf13 That scumbag has no ties witha a club for quite a long time. The club was named Lietuvos Rytas because of the newspaper he owns. Now the name is simply Rytas (morning) and has nothing to do with him or his newspaper.
English

@Ryxa41 @Cockneys_Glf13 Proudly a fan of a team whose founding figure is a racist.
English

@Dafaqmanmou Yeah, the worldwide fame really got into me. Sorry about that...
English

@Ryxa41 You guys became famous fast. You filled a void for Euroleague fans. But the thing about fame is that it will make you arrogant and reveal your true self if you are weak within. You are only a group of guys talking ball. That’s it. Stay humble Rytis. If you can.
English

@ReddingtonBack My predictions were as follows: Maccabi 3:1 Pao, Pao 3:1 Efes, Pao 3:1 Valencia.
English

@jerkat72 I literally tweeted after PAO's two wins in Valencia
English

@Ryxa41 Wrong twice, correct once. I would call that a (exactly what describes PAO season this year btw) failure. Like what you must be in you life in general. But if you are ok with yourself every time you wake up in the morning and look in the mirror, it’s ok. You do you bro.
English

@Cockneys_Glf13 I do focus on my own team. They actually won the FIBA BCL.
English

@Ryxa41 Why you dont focus on your own team? Oh right the so called basketball nation, Lithuania doesnt have any.
1 euroleague and 2 final fours in 30 years must be tough.
Still though, talking shit for PAO to feel important and relevant must be insane.
English

@paxer89 The problem is: there's no system. Just random basketball.
English

Two years in a row of going into the market and signing probably the best point guard available that summer (Brown and this year Shorts), with pretty much nothing to show for it. I'll start looking more at the "system" rather than the players
BasketNews@BasketNews_com
Ergin Ataman criticized the team's attack and noted issues with TJ Shorts' impact on offense during the halftime interview 👀 More details: basketne.ws/43aHScA
