Challenge.

There are two types of people; the extreme and the consistent. Neither function well with the others lifestyle Those of us who are extreme experience the highest highs and the lowest lows, but that is where they thrive. The consistent flourish in the mundane; Routine.

@dvassallo The more you are good at the less you are great at. There is utility in being handy but this is the wrong message, specialisation is good, not bad.

A man should be able to replace an outlet, paint a wall, create a website, install a faucet, change a diaper, get hired, hire someone, file taxes, build a wall, fell a tree, write a book, use a spreadsheet, fire a gun, make a decision, raise kids, live gallantly.

No one sees the world the way you do. You are unique in your entirety.

@Nicky3155 It’s not your job unfortunately. Individuals will only listen if they want to. A hard pill to swallow.

I feel sad when I look around. Everyone is brainwashed. Noone sees the truth. And I can't do anything about it.

@NeverAsForever There are fundamentals and absolutes worth following. Other than that, individual creativity is key.

The biggest lie is that you have to do things exactly like everyone else to succeed.

@bourscheid As much as I love the original quote, I don’t agree with the extra. It’s well known that challenge is what creates growth. Just because you have acquired skill doesn’t mean you use that skill to make life easy and that’s it. You can always go higher.
