i feel like "compensation buffs" have consistently been bad across the whole fighting game genre, sometimes its ok to just nerf characters without randomly throwing them a gun

Lost to Usagi and out of the LCQ. With that my time playing competitive GBVSR ends! Not enjoying myself continuously cut into my playing time. It's clear that the game won't change in a way that aligns with what I want so it's time to stop. Thanks for the memories!

I remember people introducing themselves by their PR/region/character first and then their gamertag while I was in America. Pretty surreal as a european player, but at the time it was full on MM culture, and this was one of the ways to get a CHANCE, at maybe playing some casuals.

About 66L Everyone who's stuck with Rising has mostly accepted it, but I think that tolerance has also blinded some people into forgetting how polarizing such a mechanic is to newer players It's so integral to the design though, that understanding the counterplay/mitigation is vital in appreciating Rising's aggressive nature in contrast to Vanilla's slower pacing Even with understanding of the counterplay though, that kind of game design isn't for everyone, and that's okay. If you're interested in Rising though, I think it's well worth trying to get over that hurdle at least

Alright so in the end i actually got 13th. Not the result I wanted but the result I deserved given very little preperation. I tried locking in for EVO but failed, truthfully I'm just not having any fun playing. I decided even before EVO to take an extended break so I'll do that!
