@larissaphillip So you base your nothing data on nothing, and then justify your nothing data by showing other people’s nothing data. Is that supposed to be an argument? Your house isn’t built on sand, your house is literally a sandcastle and the tide is coming in.

Go ahead and homeschool your kids, but if you think it’s going to save America, you’re radically misunderstanding the educational needs and inclinations of a vast swath of the public. A few homeschoolers I know of: - an adult student who can’t read. Her mother homeschooled her since first grade. - a family in Texas who homeschools their kids ever since the pandemic. These are teenagers who sit at home on their phones all day. The mother works and does virtually nothing towards their education. No dad. - a kid who dropped out of school at age 15 during the pandemic to homeschool and never went back to school at home or otherwise. No GED, no diploma, no more schooling. These families in this video are high- functioning, involved parents who probably would do a lot of these activities even if their children were in school. It’s not homeschooling that makes these kids successful. It’s their families.

@larissaphillip Our oldest was homeschooled K-12. He just graduated from law school and will likely pass his bar in July. Our other kids are on their way to their own successful trajectories. I suggest you stop talking about things you know nothing about. People base their “facts” on nothing.

@WrestlingHumble He’s a highly paid actor. As Rock found out, it will cost a movie in the millions if you get hurt playing wrestler on some free weekend. This makes perfect sense and selfish wrestling fans will just have to deal with it and be happy he still comes around.

@Lifeinvestmoney Well, first of all, don’t go somewhere where it cost that much to eat. Five Guys is ridiculous expensive. Just about every other fast food is around a third of that price. If that’s still not going to cut it, buy some bologna and bread and pack your lunch and act like a big boy.

@Gnar1104 There’s always something that can be done. Time enough to lean, time enough to clean. You think it’s already clean? I guarantee you there’s plenty that can still be cleaned.

@DONFIAZ @dom_lucre You’re making excuses for a man selling his children? You’re a monster just like him.

@dom_lucre This isn’t ‘sex slavery’—it’s a tragic reality of extreme poverty. In Afghanistan, like in many parts of history worldwide, families sometimes arrange for others to raise or care for their children because they can’t. It’s not ideal, it’s about survival.

🔥🚨JUST IN: BBC released footage of a Muslim Afghan father selling his 7-year-old twin daughters into sexual slavery with adult men because his country has failed him and he has no way to pay bills for himself or his daughters.

@dom_lucre That’s not a solution. The father is a monster. I don’t care how “bad” it makes him “feel.

The attitude of everyone in the comments...as I said Because cooking at home is living in 1945. I grew up in a large family and community. The difference between the successful and failures is how they treat money. You think Im out of touch? Lol I know EXACTLY how losers spend their money.

Here's your harsh truth: Inflation isn't the problem. You just think you're entitled to every luxury. - You don't want to live in a 1000 sq ft house, it has to be 3000 sq ft - You need to drive a new car every 4 years - Vacation has to be at a nice hotel with room service - Dinner has to be Door Dashed because you're tired - I need a new iPhone every 18 months - Everyone goes to Disney World, so I deserve to as well No you don't. Make more money or be quiet. You're not entitled to eat out every day. Growing up, we ate out 2x a month, and it was a bag of burgers and a few large fries we split. "We shouldn't have to live like they did in the old days" No luxury is an entitlement. You still have to put in the work to afford it.

@JoeCassandra Grocery prices have gone up 300%. Gas is over $4 a gallon. Get out of your ivory tower and do some actual research.

She woke up at 5:45 in the morning, set up outside with her giant copy of It by Stephen King, and committed to reading all 1,153 pages in a single sitting. She tracked her progress hour by hour, pushed through the sun and wind, took one quick lunch break, and finally closed the book at 7 PM — 13 hours later — with the biggest smile. I actually read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in one sitting, and I felt really proud of myself afterward.... and that book is 734 pages. I can’t even imagine powering through all 1,153 pages of It in a single day like she did. There’s something really rewarding about deciding to do something difficult and actually seeing it all the way through. Have you ever finished a book in a single sitting? If so, what book was it?

Kevin O'Leary says most people waste $15,000 a year on stupid stuff like $5 coffees "Stop buying coffee for five dollars and fifty cents" "You go to work and you spend $15 bucks on a sandwich, what are you an idiot. It costs you 99 cents to make a sandwich at home and bring it with you" "Bring your own water, your own drink or your own coffee mug. You start to add that up every day it's a ton of money" "Most people starting on their job making their first $60,000 piss away about $15,000 a year"
