@walyacup @Tiametmarduk This is fair, yes. I know they cant really go back to 90s sizes with the crash structures nowadays, but it is possible with a smaller engine. Big thing would be weight, as all the electric stuff is very heavy. And with a lighter car the crash structure size can be reduced a bit.

It does not look good but maybe thats the argument here. Most likely is, the FIA knew why this did happend foremost and did not want any more attention drawn to it.

@JaroslavHonzik A driver never critiques the rules when he’s winning! In 2022 we had cars jumping around like boats! Unraceable cars yet Max never questioned them! Same things goes for the 2014 engines! Everyone was talking about the sound and why have hybrids until Red Bull started winning…

I don’t understand this narrative. Is it not allowed to be critical about things? When I personally criticize something usually it is because I want it to become better version of itself (acc,lmu,myself,f1,..). I think it is important to listen to people who are healthy critical, and with Verstappen I think everyone can agree he is massive passionate about motorsport… he wants to race and fans also wants to watch good racing. It is simple as that. In 2026 everything in World seems to be either 0 or 100% but it is important to find some common ground as well.

@JaroslavHonzik Yeah for sure it's a newer game + updates. People will always be more forgiving than the ACC + ACE situation. :) The difference to iRacing, I think is, you know what you get in iRacing. This will hit you by total surprise and can be really dangerous for hands and fingers.

Luckily my experience with bugs or game breaking bugs is absolutely minimum. Biggest issue is twice now we had some le mans event with driverswap with very bad lags, so that needs fixing 100%, and then this. I think constant updates the game is getting is why people are more forgiving to these issues, at least thats why I can forgive a bit. (for example iracing netcode has been bad and causing issues for 18 years and nothing changed in that regard, and other bugs as well) So I think here is important if developer actually updates game (compare to ACC) drivers seems to be more forgiving :)

There are plenty of things carrying 10s or a DT, yellow flag infringements e.g. So there is a chance for protests after the race, therefore no team orders.

A not served DT is 20s, SG30 is 30s. Carlos had a DT in Mexico for example. So it's not like these penalties never happen and with how much McLaren fumbled..

Oscar would need Lando to be P5 after DNF which is P6 before DNF, which he would not swap back for. No scenario in which he swaps in contention.

As we want as much feedback as possible we make this weekend free for everybody etc.

Not hating on our gentle MrGit here, but it's interesting how we treat this and PMR differently. Don't get me wrong, the PMR launch was diabolical and this LMU event was marketed as a 'TEST' BUT we know how much prep a 24 hour takes - i'd be pissed if i practiced for nothing
