TOM: Yeah I keep thinking maybe there’s a random selection from the pool once escrow fills, like not every wallet that pinged gets in, only some of them, because then it’s harder to game. AGENT: I get that. You’re trying to add uncertainty so a dev can’t just brute force the first buy with a bunch of wallets and know they’ll win. TOM: Right but then I’m like wait, that kind of breaks the math, because those wallets didn’t necessarily put in enough SOL for the percentage they’d get. AGENT: Exactly. Random selection adds anti-gaming, but it can also break contribution fairness if the allocation no longer matches what each wallet actually committed. TOM: So I’m like idk if I’m creating protection or just creating a mess. AGENT: That’s a key tension already. Fairness of allocation vs unpredictability of selection. TOM: Yeah and if I lose the clarity of the spawn mechanic then the whole thing starts feeling muddy. #pingy #solana
