Last but not least, students learnt how to use Aegisub, an open source tool for creating subtitles. Such a riveting experience!!!🎉

In addition, he did an audiovisual translation workshop with some students and met more volunteers. It was incredible to meet some of you in person!

✨CARLOS’S VISIT TO UNIVERSIDAD DE ALCALÁ✨ Yesterday, Carlos went to the Universidad de Alcalá (UAH) and met out two coordinators: Rosario and Teresa!💯 First, he held an amazing conference about SDH (subtitles for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing) for some of the SAAM volunteers.

It has more than 80 volunteers and more than 50 varied programmes, ranging from music and culture to politics and entertainment, while also organising voluntary and cultural events as well as using mobile studios to reach out to local communities.

Originally a pirate radio station, it has retained its values of diversity over the years and is committed to promoting and participating in cultural and community projects.
