Just completed my final exam board today after serving for the last four years as External Examiner for @durham_uni University, overseeing @trinity_bristol with @BristolBaptist and St Augustine's College of Theology. It has been a privilege to work in these institutions. 👨🏻‍🏫📚🎉

Today, I conclude my time as Moderator/Chair of the Baptist Union Council. Thank you, @baptistuniongb your kind farewell, gift and prayers today. As I move on to serve among the Canadian Baptists, I do so encouraged by all that God is doing!

On Thursday, I sat down to write a lament. It’s not perfect. I didn’t intend to share it. It was just me, trying to hold the grief of @SpurgeonCollege closing. However, as I kept writing, I began to sense that maybe others were carrying the same ache. So here it is!

A 70th birthday party (nice!), in an Indian restaurant (now we are talking!), I get to share God’s word (even better!). A worship service with a sermon is a common feature in all Indian Christian celebrations. Happy 70th birthday to Robert Kantepudi! 🎉👏🏼

This morning I had the privilege of leading the worship service and sharing the word of God at Barking Baptist Church in London.

It has been quite a busy intensive week of teaching and taking different year groups on field trips across London. Today’s training in teaching baptisms is one of my favourites! Other than some powerful baptisms, we had a great time! 😀🎉 @SpurgeonCollege

We are delighted to welcome our new Spurgeon’s cohort of ministerial students who had a ministerial retreat today at Norbury Baptist Church led by Rev Dr Malcolm Patten.

Some of our undergraduate students doing a World Religions and Ideologies unit were on a field trip today visiting a Mandir, Masjid and Gurudwara. The day concluded with a wonderful fellowship at Southall Baptist Church.

Some of our 2nd year ministerial students were on a field trip yesterday as a part of their Ecumenism and Denominational Studies unit. We visited an Anglo-Catholic Church (St Albans) to understand their way of ministry and mission. Thanks to Father Joshua who did a very helpful session for us this afternoon.

Spoke at the 10th International Conference on Baptist Studies at Westminster College, Cambridge. My paper looked at ‘The Educational Impact of Emma Rauschenbusch-Clough among Telugu Baptist Women in South India’ between 1883-1910. It was also nice to lead the devotions.
