@Ledmagpie @__Mackem @ToonFred123 What’s surprising about what I’ve said? It’s all true. If Jesus Christ was at Newcastle he’d be forcing a move away.

🚨Exclusive Sunderland have reached an agreement with Dayann Methalie on a five-year contract. @RMCsport Club-to-club talks with Toulouse are now ongoing to finalise the deal. Valued at around €30m, Methalie could become the most expensive sale in Toulouse FC history if the transfer is completed.

@JamesCopley_ But couldn’t anyone already do this anyway, the club have always offered hospitality seats through the website that you could buy when general tickets arent available, is this not just the same packages but on a site with a larger audience?

The club have said their own match ticket ballot will not be impacted by the P1 partnership, which is important. But the reality is that supporters with the money and desire to pay £128 for the Fulham game can effectively access another route through hospitality. 2/6

Fair play to Sunderland for trying to grow revenue in a PSR world and open the club up to more international supporters. There is a sensible commercial argument behind it. But I’d be lying if I said this arrangement didn’t make me uncomfortable. 1/6 #SAFC

@fpl_tactician @FPLDobermann I think the Premier League should come up with a system where we can see who has the better side. Maybe have everyone play each other twice, if you win you get 3 points & if you draw you get 1 point. Add those points up over the 38 games & see who is the better team

People still think Sunderland are better than Leeds because of league position last season. Lol

Leeds United 1-0 Sunderland Nmecha 50' ⚽️ Tanaka 50' 🅰️ +7 DEFCONs Muharemovic 86' – 15 DEFCONs✅ Ballard 45' – 4 DEFCONs Mukiele 65' – 5 DEFCONs Sunderland's goalkeeper was basically a third CB in build-up. They took so long to progress the ball that Enzo Le Fee kept dropping deep to help. In one of those moments, Tanaka won it back with brilliant pressure, and Nmecha punished the mistake. Leeds were actually quite passive when Sunderland circulated the ball across the first line. It worked perfectly because Sunderland had no idea how to progress, eventually resorting to long balls. A really smart approach from Farke. Tanaka was outstanding. Not only did he turn defensive actions into possession regains, but his pressing also directly created dangerous situations. Brobbey linked play reasonably well, but his finishing was so poor I almost thought he was making a clearance. Subbed off before half-time. Bogle found some nice positions, but his decision-making let him down. Hume was frustrating on the ball. The timing of his passes was off almost every time in the first half. Keep a close eye on Tutierov. He could easily steal minutes from Sunderland's attacking options. Strong DEFCON numbers across the Leeds midfield. Longstaff is probably the most exciting one, although it's a shame they're all likely to compete for minutes. Muharemovic was absolutely ridiculous. 15 DEFCONs is the highest total I've seen this pre-season. Beyond that, he was extremely comfortable on the ball under pressure and, given how much of it he saw, should be in line for bonus points. I've been critical of him, but this was a top-class performance. More generally, all of Leeds' defenders look to have excellent DEFCON potential because of the way Farke's system forces opponents into playing long.

@NobbyClarke82 @tonytoonarmy74 @lee1892Johnson Class mate, to win the FA cup, something so prestigious was fantastic. Remember when Swansea beat Bradford in the league cup final, bet they still go on about it today.
