#OTD 1988: NO MERCY John MacPhail celebrates in his customary style after tucking away the 33rd-min penalty that put #SAFC 2-0 up at Millmoor. The eventual 4-1 victory condemned Rotherham to the drop. A performance oozing with confidence and quality.

@RokerReport Like or not, the club has recognised to regularly compete with long established EPL clubs then corporate money has to be chased. The number of new hospitality seat areas a balancing act with a growing waiting list for season tickets. Bigger ground only way to keep everyone sweet

A very interesting listen. Exciting times and possibly the most interesting takeaway is how far behind we are from having been out of the top flight for ten years. Sounds like there’s a plan to supercharge SAFC to ensure we act and perform like one of the PL’s biggest clubs.

Any SOL expansion at this stage would be very, very premature, for me. Let’s see where we are in four or five years’ time — after all, who saw the post-2001 downturn coming after we expanded to 49,000? Things can change very, very rapidly at this level. #SAFC
