Safe4RAIL-2 WP3 has integrated the exact same code of an HVAC application from @Liebherr in different hardware platforms of train manufacturers, taking advantage of Functional Distribution Framework (FDF) implementations such as RTA-VRTE, the ETAS AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform.

Safe4RAIL-2 WP2 developed wireless technologies and identified key 5G functionalities to be considered for future wireless train communication systems. The prototypes supporting wireless communication between wagons and trains have been developed on open source technologies.
