@VibeByDesignn You're not wrong, and the issue isn't even with her, it's the organizers of these awards. African music are sounds from an entire continent, and obviously don't even sound the same. These sounds shouldn't be boxed in one category.

I don’t understand how some Thai people can belittle this moment instead of being proud. For the FIRST TIME, a THAI artist is representing Thailand on the biggest global stage, opening doors and bringing worldwide attention to your country. This is a once-in-a-lifetime moment for your country. Instead of tearing her down, Thailand should be hyping her up and taking full advantage of this historic opportunity for the future of Thai artists. And the same goes for some Nigerian and Brazilian people acting the same toward Rema and Anitta. These artists worked hard to earn global recognition and represent your countries on the world stage. Be proud of your own people and support them instead of tearing them down.
