बोकारो स्टील प्लांट में हाउसकीपिंग का नया मानक: स्क्रैप क्षेत्र का सफल पुनर्विकास --------------------------------------------------- बोकारो इस्पात संयंत्र में स्वच्छता एवं प्रभावी हाउसकीपिंग को बढ़ावा देते हुए सीओ&सीसी विभाग द्वारा कोक ओवन बैटरी संख्या 7 एवं 8 के समीप स्थित स्क्रैप-डंपिंग क्षेत्र का सफलतापूर्वक कायाकल्प किया गया है। पूर्व में यह क्षेत्र विभिन्न प्रकार के मिश्रित स्क्रैप, जैसे भारी धातु अवशेष, पाइप एवं विघटित संरचनाओं से आच्छादित था, जिसके कारण सुरक्षा एवं संचालन संबंधी चुनौतियाँ उत्पन्न हो रही थीं। इस क्षेत्र के पुनर्विकास के अंतर्गत सुव्यवस्थित योजना के माध्यम से स्क्रैप का वैज्ञानिक तरीके से पृथक्करण एवं निष्पादन सुनिश्चित किया गया। संबंधित टीमों द्वारा विभागीय संसाधनों का कुशल एवं प्रभावी उपयोग करते हुए पूरे क्षेत्र का समतलीकरण, व्यापक साफ-सफाई तथा मानकों के अनुरूप सुरक्षा बैरिकेडिंग की व्यवस्था की गई, जिससे इसे पूर्णतः सुरक्षित एवं सुव्यवस्थित स्वरूप प्रदान किया जा सका। कर्मियों की सुविधा को ध्यान में रखते हुए स्थल पर सुव्यवस्थित बाइक स्टैंड तथा पेयजल की समुचित व्यवस्था भी विकसित की गई है। इस परिवर्तन से न केवल संभावित जोखिमों का प्रभावी निराकरण हुआ है, बल्कि कार्यस्थल की सौंदर्यता एवं उपयोगिता में भी उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि हुई है। नव विकसित स्थल के औपचारिक उद्घाटन के अवसर पर हरित पहल को प्रोत्साहित करते हुए वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों द्वारा वृक्षारोपण भी किया गया, जो पर्यावरण संरक्षण एवं सतत विकास के प्रति संयंत्र की प्रतिबद्धता को रेखांकित करता है। यह पहल बोकारो इस्पात संयंत्र की सुरक्षा, स्वच्छता, पर्यावरण संरक्षण एवं उत्कृष्ट कार्यस्थल प्रबंधन के प्रति उसकी निरंतर प्रतिबद्धता का सशक्त उदाहरण है तथा औद्योगिक परिसर में उच्च स्तरीय हाउसकीपिंग मानकों की स्थापना की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है। @SAILsteel @SteelMinIndia

बीएसएल कर्मी मन्नान अली ने ईस्टर्न इंडिया स्ट्रेंथलिफ्टिंग चैंपियनशिप में जीता स्वर्ण पदक ------------------------------------------------- बोकारो इस्पात संयंत्र के ब्लास्ट फर्नेस विभाग में कार्यरत इंजीनियरिंग एसोसिएट श्री मन्नान अली ने रांची में आयोजित ‘चौथी ईस्टर्न इंडिया स्ट्रेंथलिफ्टिंग एवं आईबीपी चैंपियनशिप 2026’ में शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए स्वर्ण पदक हासिल किया है। 11 एवं 12 अप्रैल, 2026 को आयोजित इस प्रतियोगिता में झारखंड सहित देश के विभिन्न राज्यों के प्रतिभागियों ने हिस्सा लिया। श्री अली ने प्रतियोगिता में अपनी उत्कृष्ट प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन करते हुए यह उपलब्धि अर्जित की। 76 किलोग्राम भार वर्ग के इंक्लाइन बेंच प्रेस स्पर्धा में अली ने प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त कर स्वर्ण पदक पर कब्जा जमाया। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने ‘झारखंड स्ट्रेंथलिफ्टिंग एवं आईबीपी चैंपियनशिप 2026’ के इसी भार वर्ग एवं स्पर्धा में द्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त करते हुए रजत पदक भी जीता। उनकी इस उल्लेखनीय सफलता पर विभाग के सहयोगियों एवं संयंत्र के अन्य अधिकारियों ने उन्हें बधाई दी है। मन्नान अली की यह उपलब्धि कार्य के साथ-साथ खेलों के प्रति उनके समर्पण और कड़े परिश्रम को दर्शाती है। ऐसी सफलताएँ न केवल अन्य कर्मचारियों के लिए प्रेरणा का स्रोत हैं, बल्कि शारीरिक फिटनेस एवं खेलकूद के प्रति बोकारो इस्पात संयंत्र की सकारात्मक कार्य-संस्कृति और प्रोत्साहन को भी सुदृढ़ करती हैं। @sailsteel @SteelMinIndia

SAIL-Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) holds Bidders' conference for major expansion projects ---------------------------------------------------------- Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL), a unit of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), organised a day-long Bidders' Meet Connect Pro on April 10, 2026, bringing together leading global and domestic engineering firms to deliberate on upcoming capital projects under BSL's expansion programme. The programme was inaugurated by Shri Priya Ranjan, Director I/c, Bokaro Steel Plant, in presence of Executive Directors and Chief General Managers, reflecting the senior leadership's emphasis on accelerating the expansion agenda. Shri Anish Sengupta, ED(Projects), BSL welcomed all the participants and gave the key note address outlining the importance of the Bidders' Meet, expectations of BSL with regard to the project execution times lines and setting the tone of the day's proceedings. The meet covered major initiatives including Brownfield Expansion works, the Stamp Charged Coke Oven Battery, and expansion at Gua Ore Mines. All major technology providers and Balance of Plant package providers attended - senior representatives of a total 17 bidders along with the consultant M/s M N Dastur participated and made presentations, reflecting strong market interest in the programme. Wide-ranging discussions were held on technical, commercial, and contractual aspects with a clear focus on expediting the tendering process and ensuring timely project execution. The interactive format allowed prospective bidders to raise queries and seek clarifications directly with BSL's project team. एक कदम स्वस्थ समाज की ओर, BSL का नि:शुल्क स्वास्थ्य मिशन:सेक्टर-9 में ‘सर्व स्वास्थ्य केंद्र’ शुरू --------------------------------------------- बोकारो इस्पात संयंत्र द्वारा निगमित सामाजिक दायित्व (सीएसआर) के तहत वंचित वर्गों को बेहतर स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएँ उपलब्ध कराने की दिशा में आज दिनांक 07 अप्रैल 2026 को सेक्टर-09  में 'सर्व स्वास्थ्य केंद्र' का गरिमामय उद्घाटन किया गया. इस केंद्र का उद्घाटन मुख्य अतिथि बोकारो इस्पात संयंत्र के निदेशक प्रभारी श्री प्रिय रंजन द्वारा किया गया. उल्लेखनीय है कि इस केंद्र के संचालन हेतु 21 फरवरी 2026 को सेल-बीएसएल और पिरामल स्वास्थ्या मैनेजमेंट एंड रिसर्च इंस्टीट्यूट (PSMRI) के बीच एक समझौता ज्ञापन (MoA) पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए थे. इस अवसर पर अधिशासी निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) सुश्री राजश्री बनर्जी, अधिशासी निदेशक (सामग्री प्रबंधन) श्री चित्त रंजन मिश्रा, अधिशासी निदेशक (चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य सेवाएँ) डॉ. बी. बी. करुणामय, अधिशासी निदेशक (संकार्य) श्री अनुप कुमार दत्त, अधिशासी निदेशक (खान) श्री विकास मनवती एवं मुख्य महाप्रबंधक (परियोजनाएं) श्रीमती अनिमा कुशवाहा विशेष रूप से उपस्थित थीं. कार्यक्रम के दौरान सहायक प्रबंधक (निगमित सामाजिक दायित्व) श्री प्रवीण कुमार ने उपस्थित अतिथियों को संबोधित किया. सेक्टर-09  स्थित यह 'सर्व स्वास्थ्य केंद्र' बोकारो और उसके आस-पास के क्षेत्रों में रहने वाले गरीबी रेखा से नीचे (बीपीएल) के लाभार्थियों को निःशुल्क प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएँ प्रदान करेगा. केंद्र में ब्लड शुगर और ब्लड प्रेशर की नियमित जांच, साप्ताहिक एक्स-रे और ईसीजी जैसी नैदानिक सेवाएँ तथा आवश्यक दवाएँ पूरी तरह निःशुल्क उपलब्ध कराई जाएँगी. इस पहल का मुख्य उद्देश्य आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर वर्ग के लोगों पर चिकित्सा व्यय का बोझ कम करना और उनके स्वास्थ्य के अधिकार को सुनिश्चित करना है. कार्यक्रम में महाप्रबंधक (निगमित सामाजिक दायित्व) श्री पी. पी. चक्रवर्ती, सहायक महाप्रबंधक (निगमित सामाजिक दायित्व) श्रीमती ऋचा कुणाल, श्री सूरज चंद्र तिवारी, श्री संजीव कुमार सिंह, श्री गौरव कुमार, श्री संतोष कुमार सहित सीएसआर टीम तथा सर्व स्वास्थ्य केंद्र के चिकित्सकों एवं पैरामेडिकल स्टाफ की सक्रिय सहभागिता रही. यह केंद्र गुणवत्तापूर्ण स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को समाज के अंतिम व्यक्ति तक पहुँचाने की दिशा में बोकारो इस्पात संयंत्र की एक अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण और संवेदनशील पहल है. यह न केवल वंचित वर्ग के लोगों को समय पर चिकित्सा सहायता सुनिश्चित करेगा, बल्कि एक स्वस्थ और समृद्ध समाज के निर्माण के प्रति बीएसएल की अटूट प्रतिबद्धता को भी सुदृढ़ करेगा. @SAILsteel @SteelMinIndia

SAIL-Bokaro Steel Plant Pioneers Green Steel Transition with Landmark Hydrogen Injection Project ------------------------------------------------------- SAIL-Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) has taken a major step towards sustainable steelmaking by signing a landmark agreement with Forbes Marshall Private Limited for initiating hydrogen gas injection in Blast Furnace No. 1.The agreement was formalized in the presence of the Director In-Charge, Mr. Priya Ranjan, along with senior officials of Bokaro Steel Plant. This initiative marks a significant milestone in SAIL’s journey towards reducing carbon emissions and adopting cleaner technologies in ironmaking.Aligned with India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission and global decarbonization efforts, the project aims to partially replace conventional carbon-intensive fuels with hydrogen- a cleaner and more efficient reducing agent in the blast furnace process. Given that blast furnaces are among the largest contributors to carbon dioxide emissions in steel production, this transition is expected to have a substantial environmental impact.SAIL’s Research & Development Centre for Iron & Steel (RDCIS) is playing a key role as the principal consultant for the project. Technical expertise and strategic guidance are being provided by Primetals Technologies, UK.What sets this initiative apart is its unprecedented scale. The planned hydrogen injection volume at Bokaro Steel Plant is among the largest globally, making it a pioneering effort in the steel industry.On this occasion, the Director In-Charge highlighted that this initiative reinforces SAIL’s commitment to sustainability and innovation. बीएसएल के सुरक्षा एवं अग्निशमन सेवाएँ विभाग द्वारा सेफ्टी सर्कल प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन -------------------------------------------- बोकारो इस्पात संयंत्र के मानव संसाधन ज्ञानार्जन एवं विकास तथा सुरक्षा एवं अग्निशमन सेवाएँ (S&FS) विभाग के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में दो दिवसीय 'सेफ्टी सर्कल प्रतियोगिता' का सफल आयोजन आज दिनांक 06 अप्रैल को प्रारम्भ किया गया तथा दिनाँक 07 अप्रैल 2026 को कार्यक्रम का समापन किया जायेगा. इस प्रतियोगिता का मुख्य उद्देश्य संयंत्र के कार्मिकों के बीच सुरक्षा के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाना और कार्यस्थल पर उनकी सक्रिय भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करना था. आयोजन के दौरान विभिन्न विभागों की कुल 22 टीमों ने अत्यंत उत्साह के साथ भाग लिया और अपनी प्रस्तुति दी. प्रतियोगिता के दौरान प्रतिभागी टीमों ने अपने-अपने कार्य क्षेत्रों से संबंधित सुरक्षा विषयों पर प्रभावशाली प्रस्तुतियां दीं. इस दौरान टीमों द्वारा कई नवाचारपूर्ण सुझाव भी साझा किए गए, जिनका उद्देश्य कार्यस्थल पर सुरक्षा संस्कृति को और अधिक सुदृढ़ बनाना तथा संभावित जोखिमों को न्यूनतम करना है. प्रबंधन द्वारा सभी प्रतिभागियों के प्रयासों की सराहना की गई और उन्हें सुरक्षा के प्रति निरंतर सजग रहने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया गया. इस महत्वपूर्ण कार्यक्रम के निर्णायक मंडली में स्टील मेल्टिंग शॉप (न्यू) के महाप्रबंधक श्री ओमप्रकाश अग्रवाल, ब्लास्ट फर्नेस के महाप्रबंधक श्री धनंजय कुमार, आरजीबीएस के महाप्रबंधक श्री नागेश रामटेके तथा कोल्ड रोलिंग मिल-III  के महाप्रबंधक श्री बी. के. मोहंती शामिल थे. कार्यक्रम का सफल संचालन एवं समन्वय सहायक प्रबंधक (मानव संसाधन- ज्ञानार्जन एवं विकास) श्री एस. के. डी. भौमिक तथा उप प्रबंधक (सुरक्षा) श्री अमित बडोले द्वारा किया गया. यह आयोजन बोकारो इस्पात संयंत्र की सुरक्षा के प्रति अटूट प्रतिबद्धता को रेखांकित करता है. इस तरह की प्रतियोगिताएं न केवल सुरक्षित कार्य वातावरण के निर्माण में सहायक सिद्ध होती हैं, बल्कि कर्मियों के मनोबल को बढ़ाते हुए उन्हें 'शून्य दुर्घटना' के लक्ष्य की ओर प्रेरित करने में भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती हैं.
