As Eid pardons are announced, Bahrain has a historic opportunity to finally close the dark chapter of 2011. This year, 4 members of the "Bahrain 13" (rights activists arrested in Spring 2011 during the uprising) will complete their sentences. This is the moment for Bahrain to release the remaining 7 still unjustly imprisoned, including human rights defender Abdulhadi Al-Khawaja. We call on the King of Bahrain to include Al-Khawaja in these pardons. It is time for him to come home. #FreeAlKhawaja #EidPardon #Not15Years

🌍✨ A Statement by @SALAM_DHR in relation to the conflict in Southwest Asia 🚨 The initiation of international armed conflict by the governments of Israel and the United States against Iran did not conform to rules and procedures set out in Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter 🚨 All parties to the conflict must abide by international humanitarian law 🚨 The current conflict has killed or otherwise impacted non-combatants in many or all of the states in the region.
