Ultimately, yes. He's responsible for the roster. There were extenuating circumstances; Perry transferring and a commit changing his mind. But in the end, it's on Pope.

@DylanBallard_UK Cal will always hold a grudge so whatever he insinuates means nothing to me. Besides, he’s wrong about who wins games. Players win games. Wooden didn’t win squat until he started getting the best players, and Cal won’t either.

Funny thing is Cal is going on two years saying this. He's really putting a finer point on it since his run at the SEC Tournament and into this one. Because he's 100 percent taking a shot at Mitch Barnhart. I think he rehearses these lines in the mirror, then winks at himself.

A No. 5 seed for Vanderbilt is laughable. No justification for it. The Commodores were arguably better than a No. 5 seed on March 6, and they added three Quad 1A wins from there.

We fought against staff to come back the st Johns game early with only 1 full practice under his belt in a year fought for full minutes not being restricted to 7 against Bellarmine and being able to play his game without the handcuffs on. He had some swelling and was pulled by uk medical staff he has being doing everything to get it out. He dont go out. dont hang out. All he do is ice and rehab 24/7 he is just now getting it out. So whatever frustration u think u got from him not playing u can multiply that by a thousand for him. And if any of yall grown ass men got any frustrations with my 18 yr old son who does everything he is supposed to do. come see me im always around and want all the smoke

Per Synergy, Kentucky shot 11-29 (37.9%) on layups this afternoon at Florida. The ‘Cats are shooting 55.4% on layups this season. Kentucky has to work FAR too hard to get good looks to then convert THAT poorly. Biggest issue they are facing currently.
