This was me few years ago, I was once in this same position as that little boy, hoping and praying for a dream that seemed so impossible, making toy cars with milk tins and praying I get to own one someday.
If my little self was told I would ever achieve this, I probably wouldn’t believe it too, but this is me now, it’s all reality.
I achieved all of this with no mentorship, no course and no signal sales… hell yeah, it’s possible. I promise you, your dreams are valid!
Please and please never give up on trading, quote this picture with something you never thought you could ever achieve but it now your reality.

Go into the new trading week with this
▫️Consistency is built from boring discipline repeated daily.
▫️The market rewards patience more than excitement.
▫️Most traders don’t fail because of strategy, they fail because they can’t control themselves after a win or loss.
▫️Stop trying to catch every move. Missed opportunities are better than forced entries.
▫️Your risk management is more important than your entry model.
▫️Never let one trade result affect your next trading decision
▫️your job is not to catch every move. Your job is to execute your edge properly
▫️Finally, Take profit before you take screenshot.
Wish y'all a profitable week ahead

@oj_tobi I think not only good trading habits. I also think our daily lifestyle habits had a way of impacting our trading progress.

@Techriztm The ability to get over a setback cannot but be overemphasized. Whether in trading or life. It is a very important skill to master.
Setback - Grieve - Go again (But now do it better)

@Starr_gael Elite news for swing traders.
But I think they had a very good reason to disable it in the first place according to the reason FundedNext gave.
English

Ever since prop firms stopped allowing weekend holds, my payouts have hovered around $10k biweekly… sometimes just a little above it.
It completely changed the way I could position trades. A lot of my higher conviction swing setups had to be closed early or skipped entirely.
Thankfully, FundedNext just announced that weekend holding is back. Hopefully, FTMO follows suit soon.
The rest of this month should be significantly better. 😂
We’d do so much more!

Long time no payouts E choke abi ?

@wxnse_ One of the biggest things you have to master in trading is the waiting. Sometimes, you have to be comfortable doing nothing. That's why if you are a beginner trader, you must find something else doing especially if you've not made a lot of money trading.

Let me be honest with yall 😅
The last 2 years I’ve blown multiple accounts. Not because of bad strategy I simply just felt like I was smarter than the market on days I had no business trading.
Days like that usually starts like this:
Charts are open…. I’m scanning
There’s no setup , no real bias , no clean structure but there’s the urge to trade
I start convincing myself “maybe this can work”, “I might get lucky with this”
I start negotiating with my rules not because it looks like a good setup but sitting on my hands feels uncomfortable
When the trade goes against me I keep trying the same luck that didn’t work the first time and before I know it the account is gone.
The scary part is I actually know I shouldn’t be trading but I still do it anyway .
Now I realize my edge isn’t my strategy , my edge is knowing when not to trade.
The last 2 months I’ve barely taken any trades or blown any accounts and now I’m learning to be comfortable with doing nothing

@Techriztm Trading is all about building narratives and following the story that is being told. The market is the narrator; the trader is the audience. He/she just needs to pay attention to the storyline.

Risk management starts before the trade.
Not after entry.
Not when you’re already down.
Not when you’re hoping.
Before entry, you should already know:
• Where you are wrong
• How much you are risking
• What invalidates the setup
• Where partials may be taken
• What conditions cancel the trade
• Maximum loss for the day
If these aren’t clear, you’re not trading.
You’re improvising.
And improvisation under pressure usually becomes donation.
Professionals decide first.
Amateurs scramble & react later.
