In June of 2012, Portland got blessed with this small town college kid from Weber State University in Utah. Growing up in Oakland, he wasn’t recruited heavily at all and because of that he had the biggest chip on his shoulder I’ve ever seen from a rookie. He immediately fit right into Portlands small market culture and showed what kind of person he was gonna be for this community from day 1 Fast forward 11 years and he’s done nothing but create countless memories for this city and franchise to remember forever. From taking Portland past the 1st round of the playoffs for the first time in 14 years with one of the best game winners of all time, to taking them to the WCF’s and giving Portland its best season in 19 years.
