Choir day…3/3 Our amazing campus staff choir impressed the adjudicator and the audience tonight, gaining them 1st place in the Adult Choirs category. A huge well done! 🎉 🎤 🥇 @Carrick_Academy @CulzeanPS

Choir day…2/3 Our S1-3 choir performed beautifully, gaining them 1st place in their class and bringing home the McRae trophy! 👏 🎶 🎤 🏆 @Carrick_Academy

Choir Day…1/3 Our S1-6 Show Chorus were triumphant in their class this afternoon and were awarded 1st place, bringing home the Houldsworth Silver Challenge Cup for the second year in a row. @Carrick_Academy 👏 🎶 🎤 🏆

📣 Well….. what a night! Our SA Intermediate Strings were placed first🥇in the Intermediate Strings class and our SA Senior Strings were placed first 🥇 in the Senior String class and are winners of the Walker Challenge Cup at the Ayrshire Music Festival! 👏 Bravo

Today at the Ayrshire Music festival, in the Brass/Wind/Concert/Jazz band class our South Ayrshire wind, brass and percussion players were out in force 👏. Well done to bands from Carrick Academy, Queen Margaret Academy, Marr College, Belmont Academy and Prestwick Academy too 👏

Today our colourful SA Ukulele Orchestra 🌈 and mighty SA Cello Army (16th birthday today 🎉) performed in the ‘Anything Goes’ class at the Ayrshire Music Festival👏 It was nice to have Mr McGarva, a past SA pupil 🎻, giving the critique in these non competitive classes 👏

Our SA Woodwind Ensemble are all smiles 🤩 after today’s performance at the finals of the @SYMusicians competition! A beautiful performance performed in the most professional of ways! We are all very proud of you! 👏 Congratulations to P+K Big Band who took home the prize 👏

Our South Ayrshire Woodwind Ensemble, led by Mr Gonzalez, are proud to be finalists in the Scottish Young Musicians National Ensemble of the Year 2026 tomorrow at @RCStweets Good luck to all performers and enjoy the day!

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 On Tuesday 24 Feb, Angus and Fergus piped for the Alloway Burns Club Schools’ Burns Supper in Ayr Town Hall. They played for guests on arrival and piped in the haggis during the celebrations 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

On Sunday, 22 Feb, South Ayrshire Chamber Singers, led by Ms Davidson, were invited to take part in the Ayr Auld Kirk Conspiracy of Gratitude Service. They are now looking forward to preparing for their performance later in the year for @TheCumnockTryst

👏 Tonight it was the turn of our Junior, Intermediate and Senior Strings and Pipe Band. They played to a full house and enthusiastic audience 🤩 We are so proud of the standards our young people achieve and thank you for coming out to support our musicians 👏👏 🤩
