@SAORVIEW is there a problem with signal in donegal

ESB mains supply was restored in our Kilkeaveragh transmission site, Co. Kerry by 13:00 this afternoon. Saorview services from this site are back up and operating normally. (8th December 2025)

2RN advise that the Kilkeaveragh transmission site, Co. Kerry, is currently off the air due to an ESB fault. This fault is affecting all Saorview and RTÉ Radio services from our Kilkeaveragh transmission site in Co. Kerry. (8th December 2025)

@2rnNMC advise that engineering works will result in temporary outages at Woodcock Hill, Castlebar and Greenore transmitters. If affected by these temporary outages, please do not re-tune. saorview.ie/en/help/update…

Woodcock Hill, Clare Due to engineering works, viewers in the affected area will experience a break in reception of up to seven hours' duration commencing 10:00 on 18th November 2025. If affected, do not retune. Apologies for this temporary loss of service.

Kinsale, Cork Due to ESB planned maintenance, viewers in the Kinsale area will experience a complete break in reception of up to nine hours' duration commencing 08:30 on 15th October 2025.

Is anyone in west Offaly having difficulty receiving @SAORVIEW signal (receiving from the Longford transmitter) since Friday? Unwatchable, and we look set for a third night without TV.

@Plainofherbs Hi, 2RN, the Saorview transmitter network operator have advised that the Longford transmitter is operating normally. High pressure weather conditions are causing some reception difficulties. Please do not retune, this is a temporary issue. 1/2

ESB outages are currently affecting services from Castlebar, Co. Mayo, Tonabrocky, Co. Galway and Rosscarberry, Co. Cork. If affected do not adjust your Saorview TV or box, ESB engineers are working on it. (Posted 10:47 21st November 2024.)

@2rnNMC advice that there is an ESB fault at Kilmacthomas transmission site affecting Saorview services. Current estimated restoration time is 12:00 today, 5th November 2024.

Ballina, Tipperary: Due to planned ESB works, viewers will experience a break in reception of up to five hours' duration commencing 10:00 on 13th August 2024.

2RN advise that our Cnoc An Oir transmitter site in Co. Kerry is currently being impacted by an ESB outage. The current estimated restore time is 18:00 this evening. (Posted 09:20 12th August 2024)

@SAORVIEW Hi, are there signal issues in Clonmel, Co. Tipp? All three TV's with Digital aerials have stopped receiving signal, with signal quality at zero. All were working fine till today, and all are in different locations of the house

@SAORVIEW Transmission In Myrtleville Co.Cork down since Dec 21st & Not Restored Yet!

2RN advise that our Greystones transmission site in Co. Wicklow is currently off the air due to an ESB fault. The expected restoration time is 15:30 on Thursday 21st December 2023

@FLAN316 Apologies, there weas an ESB outage that affected the Collins Barracks transmitter.

@SAORVIEW hi there, no signal on all saorview channels tonight in Cork. Tried other TVs, no luck there either. (Alll connected to different aerials). Is there a transponder failure?
