#sapsFS The vigilance and swift action of a detective commander resulted in the arrest of two suspects and the seizure of dagga worth an estimated street value of R10 000 on Charlotte Maxeke Street. The two suspects, aged 31 and 34, were immediately arrested and face charges of dealing in dagga. They are expected to appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court soon. #sapsNW The Acting District Commissioner of Bojanala Platinum Sub-District 2, Brigadier Mamotsamai Ntoagae, has welcomed the sentencing of 32-year-old Sello Mokoele following his conviction for attempted murder on Wednesday, 14 May 2025. The case docket was assigned to Detective Sergeant Patrick Sebalane for investigation. He traced and arrested Mokoele the following day. #sapsKZN [KIDNAPPING VICTIM RESCUED] Police in KwaZulu-Natal have rescued a woman who was kidnapped together with seven others from their home at Chappies Section, Mandeville area in Sundumbili by unknown men in the early hours of Friday morning, 15 May 2026. The seven victims were reportedly released at KwaDabeka a little later, however the woman, who recently received her Road Accident Fund (RAF) payout, was taken to an unknown location. The Provincial Tracking Team was activated and officers took no time to locate one of the two vehicles which were used in the kidnapping, and arrested three suspects. Investigations led police to Phoenix where the victim, who is in her mid to late 30s, was found unharmed. Police are appealing to RAF beneficiaries not to disclose their payouts or brag about the money. The suspects attempted several transactions to no avail, however they managed to make purchases amounting to R30 000. The arrested suspects will appear in court soon. The search is on for more possible suspects. NP

#sapsNW Collaboration across two provinces has resulted in a 10-year prison sentence for a man convicted of murder in Madikwe. The preamble of the incident began on Sunday, 3 November 2024, when Madikwe police members responded to a murder reported in Seshibitswe village, near Madikwe. They found a 43-year-old deceased male with stab wounds. Witness accounts pointed to a known suspect, who had fled immediately after the incident. The North West Provincial Tracing Team conducted extensive investigations to locate the suspect. The 33-year-old Tebello Johannes Pholaphola was traced and arrested in Nqeleni village in the Eastern Cape. Pholaphola was returned to Madikwe on Tuesday, 2 September 2025. #sapsFS The Anti Gang Unit's Organised Crime Investigation, welcomes the significant sentences handed down by the Rouxville Regional Court against seven individuals responsible for a horrific gang related attack that claimed the life of Moeketsi Lepota in 2020. On the night of 6 June 2020, at approximately 22:00, the victim, Moeketsi Lepota, was visiting a friend’s house in Phomolong, Zastron. The residence was suddenly descended upon by members of the "410" gang. In a ruthless act of violence, the suspects set the house on fire while the occupants were still trapped inside.
