While his stay in hospital means Pope Francis was unable to attend today's Mass for Ash Wednesday, he still issued his Lent message as normal. With it being #Jubilee2025, many of his reflections examined the importance of what it means to journey together in hope. Prayer is what keeps the lamp of the heart lit. When we feel our enthusiasm wane, #Prayer fans the flame, because it brings us back to God, to the center of everything. Prayer reawakens the soul and focuses us on what matters and the purpose of existence.

We are looking forward to this! Our children will be participating in the Carol Service at St Alban’s Blackburn on 13th December.
