Officially stepping in as Head of Memes & Content Strategy at @bonkfun I’ve been in the crypto trenches for over a decade. Worked behind the scenes with Tier-1 CEXs and top founders across the space and was one of the early accounts posting memes on CT back when this industry was still shaping its culture. We are going to be doing a lot of experiments and trying new stuff. One of the biggest things I see mentioned is liquidity on new launches being thin, and people comparing the liquidity on today's launches vs old coins. So for traders 0.75% of all post bond volume is going into the liquidity pool, this effectively makes the LPs 4x deeper, and hopefully improves the tokens life cycle. For deployers, 0.25% of bonding curve volume will go into a rewards pool, which will compound throughout the day. We can see how this plays out, if it doesn't work we are not going to be afraid to cut it, and rethink. I see a lot of the suggestions regarding vamps, so maybe something we look at next update.

For deployers: 0.25% of bonding curve volume is allocated to a rewards pool every 2 hours, compounding throughout the day. Every 24 hours, the full amount is distributed to creators evenly across all successful bonds created within that 24 hour window.

full report on what exactly happened below. there was a boat load of misinformation regarding what happened naturally, so hopefully this clears it up. we are refunding those affected 110% of the money stolen. also, we was working on a lot of stuff pre this liquidity wise. we was going to push the update on the day this happened, but obviously things got in the way... but hopefully we can push some interesting changes for you guys to try.

BONKfun is back and here’s what happened 👇 On March 11, the BONKfun website was hijacked by a malicious actor via a social engineering targeting our domain service provider. This resulted in the domain being transferred to an external registrar. The domain service provider has accepted responsibility for transfer, and we have confirmed this incident was not the result of any compromise of BONK or BONKfun internal systems, codebase, or team accounts. Upon identifying the breach, we immediately took action to: 1) Disable the site 2) Coordinate with wallet providers to flag the domain as malicious 3) Contain further user impact We’d like to thank @phantom, @solflare, @MetaMask, @_SEAL_Org and all other security partners that helped spread the word quickly. We estimate the total customer losses at $30,000 and we will be reimbursing affected users at 110% of losses to account for opportunity cost. As a result of this social engineering on the domain service provider, the BONKfun domain was transferred to an external registrar, and that transfer greatly inhibited our ability to move quickly with relaunching the site in a secure manner. The domain and domain registration were fully transferred back around 5:00 pm Eastern time on 3/18. Full functionality with major wallet providers was restored late on 3/19, which has now enabled us to safely and securely relaunch the site. The main BONKfun domain is still experiencing flags from several antivirus software providers, we are working to remove these flags as soon as possible. For users experiencing issues with BONK.fun due to anti-virus software, letsBONK.fun is also live now and contains the same functionality as the main site.

@earlTrades I would love for this to work but in reality it just makes all the devs move to the cheaper platform or the alternative where they make money. This would require all launchpads to do the same, which they are not going to do.

@maxwin ignore ppl saying you need 7.5k cal a day 😭 you need like 3.5/4k~, and actively track the calories, not jus off the head top. if you eat in a surplus, you gain weight, if you don’t your probably not eating as much as you think.(been there)
