I wish I could approach stories in a more professional and analytical way, rather than getting so emotionally invested. I see how others review media with clear detachment, while I feel like a complete idiot whenever something bad happens to my favorite character. I try hard not to get attached to fictional characters, but the way they’re written often makes me feel genuinely connected to them. I’ve always been highly emotional, so maybe this is just something that will never change.
