I truly believe 2026 can be the year of ending a 2,000 year-long conflict. Peace is only possible because of the courage of our men and women in uniform and the leadership of President @realDonaldTrump.

Have you ever apologised for this, @shashj? Or explained why you falsely claimed there was “first-hand evidence”? This isn’t a minor mistake. The grotesque lie that Israeli babies were beheaded was used to justify slaughtering countless actual Palestinian babies.

On this day, two years ago, footage of one Israel’s horrific crimes was released by Al-Jazeera.

Am I the only one who found the Economist cover a bit melodramatic and jumping the gun? Israel still has full US backing and other countries and is not under nearly enough pressure to stop the war. You know who is alone? Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem

At Aspen, Economist editor-in-chief Zanny Minton Beddoes laid out her vision for ‘the day after’: “Israeli security first and foremost,” followed by “some kind of autonomy” for Palestinians. But she made clear she shouldn’t be mistaken for someone calling for an equal Palestinian state. And said it should not be run by the PA but by a “less corrupt, more effective” body that manages “some form of self-government.”

Tucker Carlson challenges The Economist’s editor-in-chief to define Israel’s “right to exist”

My #G7 counterparts and I condemn in the strongest terms Iran’s unjustifiable attacks and stand firmly with our partners in the region. As we meet next week at the #G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, we will continue to call for the immediate and unconditional cessation of all attacks, the protection of civilians and critical infrastructure, and reaffirm our commitment to regional stability, energy security, and maritime safety. In the Israeli war of 2024, we met Mustapha Ramadan, who remained in his home in Haret Hreik throughout the fighting. Two years later, the second round of Israeli aggression forced him to leave, and he is now sheltering in an open area in Beirut. Shocking footage from this evening of a ballistic missile striking the city of Dimona in southern Israel. Home to 40,000 residents, a direct hit on a civilian neighborhood is a war crime! I’m furious that world leaders still refuse to stand up and call out Iran. When Israel defends itself, every UN body goes crazy — cheered on by hypocritical Western nations.
