First day as provost at @stonybrooku. Thrilled to be here. I will say, if one wants to ease into a new job, I highly recommend starting the Friday before July 4th. Two meetings all day and one just canceled - Though I suspect the bill for this easy day will come due Tuesday!

As I have now officially transitioned to my new role as provost at Stony Brook I wanted to take one last opportunity to thank the amazing faculty and staff at UConn who were such thoughtful partners with their "pandemic provost." I will always be grateful.

Great news from @UConnCCD: 90% of 2021 graduating class reported favorable job outcomes at 6-month post-graduation; a 6-percentage point increase from 84% when @UConnCCD started tracking these outcomes in 2016. Which is even more impressive when considering the impact of COVID.
