Beretta’s refusal to back SBU’s A10 membership with a full-throated commitment should trouble everyone, especially the president and BoT. Few things would set this school back further than an AD willing to drift into the NEC, and nothing else in this thread matters if he does.

-New turf field replacement remains a priority. -Seem to be nearing an official hire for an assistant softball coach. -The long-term future between the A-10 and SBU seems to be in “we’ll see” territory. Highly recommend watching the pod for full context! It’s a goodie!

@BonaRiverRat @SBUnfurled Can't make it any more definitive. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I think my stance was clearly stated and has since been reiterated many times. It's crystal clear when you listen to the podcast that we highly value the A10 and are committed to the conference.

Very concerning here from Beretta. I do not know one supporter of SBU Athletics that would support this. Attendance at the Reilly Center would drop to under 1000 a game.
