SCCS seniors Charli Bennett and Isabel Rossbach competed in the NYS track and field champtionship in Middletown Friday and Saturday. Charli finished 13th in the 400 meter hurdels and Isabel finished 7th in the pentathlon.

Charlie Bennett took second in the girls' 400 meter hurdles at yesterday's Section IV state qualifier meet in Binghamtom. Bennett will join Isabel Rossbach at the NYSPHSAA statewide meet in Middletown on June 13, 2025.

Isabel Rossbach took first place for all of Section IV in the girls' pentatholon at yesterday's Section IV state qualifier meet in Binghamton.

The SCCS modified girls softball team was scheduled to play against Marathon on May 22, 2025. The game was canceled due to lack of eligible athletes from Marathon. The game will not be rescheduled. The girls will play against Groton today, May 27, 2025 at Groton.

The SCCS girls varsity softball team advanced in the Section IV Softball 2025 Tournament Class “C”. After a 9-4 win at Elmira Notre Dame on May 22, 2025, the Chiefs will now move on to the second round of the tournament and play at Tioga High School May 27, 2025.

The Southern Cayuga varsity softball team has been seeded eleventh out of sixteen in the Section IV Class C Tournament and will travel to Elmira Notre Dame next Tuesday for first round play.

Ninth grader Landon Hauptfleisch and seventh grader Daniel Johnson have been named first team Division All Stars for the IAC Small Schools North Division.
