For the 51st year, the SC Baptist Education and Missionary Convention and SCDC partnered for the collection and distribution of inmate hygiene packets at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Columbia. Volunteers, chaplains and inmates worked together to provide packets for approximately 17,000 inmates, a project which brings such compassion and joy. Packages will be delivered tomorrow. #WeAreCorrections

Stanley Anzle Bryson Jr., 36, an inmate at Lee Correctional Institution, died at the institution Sunday. His death is being investigated as a suspected suicide. An autopsy will be performed. Details: public.doc.state.sc.us/agency-news-pu…
