This year’s #WorldStorytellingDay theme is “Deep Water.” Oral storytelling builds comprehension, vocab & background knowledge—bridging spoken & written language. Honoring cultural stories helps students see themselves in literacy while expanding their understanding of others.

#Literacy is a critical skill for all of us. Today we celebrate #InternationalReadToMe day. Read to your children. Read to yourself. Model a lifelong love of reading.
