Ribonucleic acids (RNAs) have been linked to many diseases, including rare diseases, neurological disorders, cancers and heart failure. Expanding research to target specific RNA molecules could have an impact on how we prevent or treat many diseases that have few or no treatment options. To help advance this work, NIH launched the Targeting RNA in Disease with Novel Technologies (TRDNT) Challenge.
