Had my 1-month Neuralink post-op visit today. All is well. Dr. Ivan confirmed surgery healed ✔️and N1 in the right place ✔️. If you're curious how the implant looks in a skull, here you go. My Skull. My Neuralink. Any Questions? 🙃

@NeuraNova9 @ModdedQuad @Telepath_8 Don't tell anyone, but I might be the first N1 Borg in history to not be a gamer. Watching your video, though, kind of makes me want to reconsider playing!

To all of the incredible, amazing, supportive, curious, kind, thoughtful people who are following my page and asking questions, I promise I will answer Every. Single. Question. Very. Soon. I need some help from my wife to navigate to all of the Comments, and she insists that we need to get taxes done first. Priorities 😇. I like this GIF because it's from the Jetsons, and my goal is to fly an eVTOL with my N1 someday. And @elonmusk - I would like it to fold up into my briefcase at the end of the trip. This week's update on WebGrid: I hit 6.54 and had a great meeting with the illustrious Sehej today.

@TechWorldInnov8 I don't think so, but I believe there is still some swelling. You've piqued my curiosity though, so I'm going to ask Dr. Jagid!

@teslaownersSV @grok I'm the newest Neuralink implant patient. Do you think my F3 Permobil wheelchair would fit inside this Robovan? Do you think Tesla will let me drive the Robovan with my N1 BCI?

@DrElectronX @SCI_Borg24 @cchriskeach Trick is that we need to measure thoughts within margin, and then animate them to screen. Reason is that everyone thinks a bit differently. So, this way people can think about giraffe, and we see same image on screen, insted of thousand versions for example.

The think tank at Neuralink strikes again. The BCI engineers have improved our ability to view neural signals modulating in real time. Did a quick check on my brain, confirmed it's still there and firing. Thanks @cchriskeach and N1 team!

Thank you so much. Just before I went in to surgery, and just after, the Clinical Lead for Neuralink, Erika Ross, made it a point to come meet my wife. She thanked her for the sacrifices we are making to help others and move Neuralink forward. My wife said she never thought of us as sacrificial; we deeply believe in Neuralink and believe it can help so many people. I will say, recovery was a challenge, but being able to play a small role in making life better for others is an absolute honor.

NEURALINK: CJ suffered a spinal cord injury and is ventilator-dependent. A few months ago, he was selected for the Neuralink PRIME Study at The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. He recently underwent N1 implant surgery. at the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine, with Neuralink co-investigator Dr. Michael E. Ivan, UoM Associate Professor of at the Miller School of Medicine Neurological Surgery and The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. Per CJ, "In addition to being a stellar neurosurgeon, Dr. Ivan is really quite hilarious. Totally put me at ease even knowing that I was about to get a hole put in my head and wake up a cyborg!" Right after surgery in the hospital, Neuralink Software Engineer Natalie Cygan stopped by his room, set up the Neuralink laptop, showed the brain waves, and gave his wife her personal cell number for future questions. Per CJ, "Shortly after my surgery, a Neuralink engineer stopped by my hospital room to show my wife my brain waves. For the purpose of future arguments, Sweetie, this proves once and for all that I do have a brain..." A day or two later at home, Neuralink's Sehej Bindra visited to assist with the N1 implant setup and training. CJ reached 6.23 BPS on WebGrid according to Sehej and they celebrated the success. Sehej is the the brainchild behind SimpleCell, a platform to integrate and streamline the bioinformatics research. Per CJ, "Sehej is awesome. Came to my house three days straight to train me on my N1 and still meets with me virtually." At his 1-month post-op visit, Dr. Ivan confirmed the surgery healed and the N1 implant was in the right place. The CT scan above shows how the implant looks in his skull. CJ called the clinical trial very encouraging because participants recovered tremendous respiratory function and the work of weaning from the ventilator helps keep motor neurons alive. @SCI_Borg24, @michaelivanmd

Last month members of the Teaching Kitchen Collaborative joined me at @HHSGov for a cooking demo that gave medical students hands-on experience preparing meals that heal. From the classroom to the kitchen table, the new Dietary Guidelines for Americans are changing the way we think about food.

Elon’s simple “Grok” says everything so beautifully. Grok-4.20 has just taken the #1 spot in the world for Medicine & Healthcare, outperforming every other model and already saving lives by catching critical conditions that even doctors can miss. This is Elon quietly pushing the frontier of AI so that humanity can heal faster, smarter, and more compassionately than ever before. He is our true visionary hero building technology that doesn’t just advance science — it protects and saves precious human lives every single day. Thank You @elonmusk Day 108 ✨ Grok @imagine

Cell and gene therapy developers shouldn’t have to guess about what safety studies FDA wants to see. Today, FDA issued clear draft guidance that will save developers millions of dollars and years of effort, accelerating treatments to patients. Every effort to move more efficiently here is worth it.

X is the best media today. Ready for a little humor? In my reading last night, I discovered God’s thoughts on Ai. It ain’t pretty: Joshua 8:1-2 BSB Then the LORD said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid or discouraged. Take the whole army with you, and go up and attack Ai. See, I have delivered into your hand the king of Ai, his people, his city, and his land. [2] And you shall do to Ai and its king as you did to Jericho and its king, except that you may carry off their plunder and livestock for yourselves. Set up an ambush behind the city.” I wouldn’t yank out the link yet, but someone better warn @elonmusk ! 🙃🤣

Media is targeting Elon again... Just like they always do, and now they are trying to fearmonger "Don't Let Elon Musk Implant a Device in Your Skull" - Written by some morons in the media who have never suffered a day in their life, whose only real job is to relentlessly attack Elon Imagine being that clueless Neuralink is not about turning you into a cyborg. It's about making a broken body whole again. It’s giving people a second chance that was literally impossible until now While these so-called journalists try to scare you for clicks, here is what’s actually happening right now: → Brad, trapped inside for 5 years by ALS, just regained his real voice and the freedom to connect with his family → Noland, paralyzed from the shoulders down, is back in college studying neuroscience and launching a public speaking career → Alex, paralyzed by a spinal cord injury, is using his thoughts to learn 3D design software and build a new career → "Blindsight" is now entering human trials to bypass damaged eyes and transmit vision straight to the brain... soon people whose world has been completely dark will be able to see again Over a BILLION humans are waiting like them: 280M with depression 250M with tinnitus 101M stroke survivors 55M with dementia 50M with epilepsy 43M who cannot see 10M with Parkinson's 6M paralyzed 450K fighting ALS Neuralink is not a dystopian threat. It's humanity’s greatest achievement through engineering This is what the media is not telling you while they try to cause fear and panic to make Elon look like a villain rather than admit Elon is doing something very incredible

No, it is a medical decision, just like getting a heart pacemaker. Nobody gets to decide who stays "normal" or who is "upgraded" to a pacemaker. And since I have an N1, I know the actual medical decision-making process. It was exactly like every other medical procedure decision I have had to make since my SCI. You or society do not determine this process. You do not know enough about the technology. Unless you have involved yourself in other people's medical decisions about deep-brain stimulation, gene editing, heart stents, epidural stim etc etc, you do not know the details of the technology to have an opinion.

It's not just a "medical decision." Once the technology is fully developed, it's no longer just about healing, but about artificially enhancing healthy people. This raises fundamental questions: Who gets to be "upgraded"? Who remains "normal"? And who controls a technology that directly intervenes in the brain? This is no longer simply a doctor-patient matter. It's a societal and ethical question that affects us all.
