Today, author, teacher, and baseball enthusiast Keith B. Woods visited our elementary students to present “A Negro Leagues History.” A SCSD graduate, he shared the story of the Schenectady Mohawk Giants and spoke with students about inclusion and acceptance regardless of race.

📸On Friday, Schenectady High School held the annual senior job fair. Dozens of local companies and unions were on hand to recruit students into the workforce upon graduating in June🎓

Today was United PE Day! Students of all abilities came together at the sports center at Union College for adapted sports, games, and team-building focused on inclusion, friendship, and connection. Thank you to everyone who made this amazing day possible! ⚽️🏈#SchenectadyRising

Night school and after-school activities scheduled at Schenectady High School are cancelled today.

Due to a power outage at Schenectady High School, SHS students will be dismissed early today at 1:15 p.m. Buses will be arriving to transport all students who regularly receive transportation.

Thank you to the Schenectady community for your support of the school budget vote and facility propositions. Congratulations to Bernice Rivera who was re-elected to the Board of Education and Daniel Flynn and Rennie Glasgow who were elected to their first terms on the board.
