This week KGS hosted Active Schools' ASN festival. We had around 30 pupils from Buckie, Keith, Milne's and Speyside come together for some indoor bowls + some socialising in the canteen. Great fun!🙌

Caitlin + Ellen have been Young Leaders for a few years. Both are confident pupils + great role models. Caitlin's focus is the KGS netball team. Ellen is in year 2 as Young Ambassador, delivering fantastic community projects. Both achieved new hoodies this term. Well done!😊

🙌Great job by KGS Young Ambassadors Ellen + Kirsty, alongside Active Schools Young Leaders Lucy + Rachael for delivering activities to P7s who visited school for transition mornings. Along with a swim, the P7s got involved in problem solving + team building while having fun👏

Congratulations to Active Schools Young Leaders Cat + Lola on a successful bid to KGS Parent Council for funds to buy new kit for the girls' football + rugby teams. To support this, Cat + Lola are also planning a fundraiser - watch this space for details! Well done girls! 👏

This term 11 KGS pupils completed 3 x training sessions on coaching, followed by 3 x sessions delivering fun games to P1+P2 children. Great group😊

Congratulations to Meg and Edith on achieving their grey Young Leader hoodies - representing 10 hours of volunteering. This has included hockey + P1-2 fun games. Well done 👏

Well done to Young Leaders Rachael, Kirsty, Lucy and Maisie for working alongside PE and Active Schools to host an interactive Christmas quiz for around 80 x P7s attending KGS last week for a transition event 🙌👏

👏It's been such a pleasure working with the senior pupils at Newmill Primary this term + super chuffed that our Beatrice Windfarm funding provided t-shirts for each of our new Play Leaders - well done folks🙌

Following up from our 4 weeks of taster sessions at KGS, here is the Keith Crew at the ASN indoor curling festival this morning at Speyside High - lots of fun! Thanks to school + staff support 👏
