@huskytrojan That was my thought as well. I feel like the previous system was more geared toward sorting by length of stay. Hopefully, they’ll get some valuable insights for next time.

I preferred this way, but it can still be improved. I was fortunate to get in at 30 minutes. I had a downtown hotel sell out as I was entering my info then all the other downtown hotels didn't have anymore Friday availability. I would like to see a pre-sort based on how many nights people are staying. Reward people who plan on staying in San Diego the longest with the best opportunity to secure a hotel. I'd also like the opportunity to piecemeal hotels together for my entire stay. When I saw that the downtown hotels did not have Friday availability, I didn't see a way to reserve the nights that were available and then add a different hotel for the unavailable night.

For the first time, those who attend WonderCon 2026 and stay at an official WonderCon hotel will be eligible for Comic-Con 2027 RETURNING REGISTRATION. Comic-Con Returning Registration is typically conducted in the fall and is an opportunity to purchase Comic-Con badges ahead of the general public. While a limited number of badges are available, it gives fans who attended that year’s event an extra chance before the general badge sale, or Open Registration, takes place a few weeks after.
