So...today we went to the dog rehoming centre where they have a corridor of glass fronted kennels to walk along and see the doggies looking for a home. Some of their eyes looked so sad, it made me sad and I could have had a little cry. Actually, I did. Mad, eh? 🙁

Someone dumped a dog so I've decided to recycle it. This is Pippet

@SusieL Yes. She was dumped near here about 6 weeks ago, no one could catch her. She turned up at a local farm where they have a butchers & they fed her scraps. She was eventually caught & arrived here Tuesday. She loves our Labrador, Sooty.

Todays action shot from the allotment, This morning has been about pruning apple trees, cutting branches in to small pieces, then putting them into the shed to dry out. It also involved eating mince pies, drinking coffee & having a fire under the winter sunshine ☀️ 🥧 ☕️ 🔥
