We the People. That statement states that the structure of society that is to come forth from these pages is done by consent of the people, those to be governed. When sanctuary cities started in the 80’s and 90’s, they instituted national immigration policies that were not consented to by those they would affect. That created a schism in the fabric of our society that was never reconciled willingly and was never debated publicly. It was foisted upon us by emotional bullying and shame! Now, when those who do not consent stand up for our right to be protected by our constitution and laws that All consent to, people are upset. The reconciliation process of healing this schism in our society is painful, for Everyone! But the sooner we get back to law and order the sooner we can have substantive conversations about what needs to change to move forward peacefully and with the Consent of All the Governed.
