@bx_on_x Intoxication makes everything worse. But even sober, most people panic because they've never trained for high stress situations. That's fixable. Awareness and basic response training changes how you handle chaos when it comes.

Terrifying video from the mass shooting last night in downtown Austin shows how people have no clue how to react in these situations (or are too intoxicated). Don't bunch up together in an unsecured room surrounded by glass. Arm yourself with a fire extinguisher and move towards the emergency exit. This is what we were taught in CRASE training.

@akafaceUS This is what zero preparation looks like under pressure. The human body has instincts, but they're not enough against someone committed to hurting you. Training overwrites the freeze response.

@brutalfightz2 This is what violence looks like in real life. Not fair. Not one punch. Continuous assault. Every kid should understand this reality and know basic ways to protect themselves. Schools should be teaching this.

@TRobinsonNewEra Older kids targeting a younger, vulnerable kid. This happens because they know he can't defend himself. Self-defense training gives kids like this the confidence and skills to not be easy targets.

A Scottish grandmother posted the following today, and the whole incident has sickened me. "This is my grandson, Lucas, being attacked by a gang of Asian youths. Lucas attends BELLAHOUSTON ACADEMY in Glasgow. Lucas is 12 and from the day he started at this school, he has been bullied for being white and little bit overweight plus he is tall for his age. Lucas has ADHD and a degree of Autism. These youths are from his school and are older. They told him they will Rape, Stab or Shoot his mother. They are terrorising the whole area and have been for around a year. We have now involved the Police, Media and written to the Board of Education. He is terrified to go back to school, Lucas is the kindest boy you could ever wish to meet. This has to stop". Make these little rats famous!

@NationalAware One kid is down and being beaten. Where are the other students? Where's the intervention? This is why self-defense matters — you can't always count on someone else stepping in. You have to be capable of protecting yourself.

@akafaceUS Think about your commute home. Do you notice who's behind you? Do you know the cars that are always there? Most people don't. And that's exactly what makes them vulnerable to this.

@JackPosobiec Everyone says 'I'd never ignore something like that.' But most people would, because they wouldn't actually recognize it happening. That's why awareness training matters — it removes the doubt.

@catturd2 This is what happens when people are trained to trust their instincts AND act on them. Not freeze, not assume someone else will handle it. Just act. More of this, please.

@LilaGraceRose The fact that workers were trained to recognize this — that's what made the difference. Most people see something off and do nothing because they're not sure. Confidence in what you're seeing saves lives.

HEROES: Vigilante moving crew blocks Amber Alert suspect’s car, helps rescue 2-year-old girl A Camelback Moving crew in Phoenix spotted a 2-year-old girl matching an Amber Alert description inside a suspect’s car at a QuikTrip on Sunday morning. After confirming with the alert photo, they used their moving trucks to block the vehicle from leaving the parking lot while calling 911. Police arrived, arrested the suspect (the child’s non-custodial parent), and safely reunited Kehlani Rogers with her family. Crew member Kevin Place told reporters, “We all have kids… We weren’t going to let him get away.” Freaking heroes.

🚨 HOLY CRAP. A man showed up at a woman’s door in the UK at 2AM and reportedly stood there staring at her. Instead of jail, police took him to a hospital. He was later released. And the advice to the woman? “If he comes back, call us.” That’s what has people furious. When someone is at your door in the middle of the night, you expect immediate protection. Not paperwork. Not catch and release. Not “call again if it happens.” This is why so many Brits are fed up. Public safety is supposed to be the baseline. If citizens don’t feel protected in their own homes, something is broken.

@MrWhiteMAGA That moment required two things: mental clarity + knowing you can fight back. Most people freeze. The ones who've trained? They act. That's the difference between survival and disaster.

St. Augustine, Florida. Watch 🎥. What began as a routine shift inside a quiet smoke shop in mid-July 2025 turned into a terrifying fight for survival in seconds. A man walked in, robbed the store…and then allegedly tried to abduct the female clerk. Surveillance footage shows him dragging her out the door toward a stolen truck as her screams echoed through the parking lot. In that moment, it could have ended in tragedy. But she refused to go quietly. She fought back with everything she had…kicking, clawing, resisting…buying precious seconds until a witness rushed in to help her break free. The suspect fled but was later arrested. An ordinary day. A sudden predator. A split-second decision that changed everything. If you were in her position, would you have the courage to fight back?
