Look how @redlandsschool upcycles with S.E.A.T. Project! ✅🌳♻️🌏

@MSCWoolwich utilising @seatproject as a resource within Design & Technology course. This year’s Year 11 students investigated the design of our unique bamboo SEAT to consider their own individual take on the Project.

@seatproject innovative design by @stickwriter Cradle to cradle sustainable design, SEAT comes in a flat pack box, uses no nails, no glue.

Packed up & ready to be shipped...as a part of @seatproject students of Coreen School NSW collected clothing & these classroom basics to send to Grace Divine Kindergarten (volunteer retired teacher with 50 students in her home!) in Ura Village, Malaita Province, Solomon Islands.

Sts Crookwell PS participated @seatproject with support of School Chaplain. Purple Day marked last day of @seatproject Sts wore purple with gold coin donation to @Make_A_Wish9 cause thoughtfully selected by @seatproject sts. Raised $273.85 to help make some wishes come true!

2nd year running Y5 students St Luke's Grammar Bayview Campus engaged in @seatproject They researched and contemplated an organisation close to their hearts, contributing via their decorated SEATs and sought donations raising $1000 for Happy Days Cambodian Village School.

Year 5 offered completed SEATs to make difference to lives of Australian students in drought affected areas NSW. @WentworthPublic is a remote school struggling with the drought, so lovely to see smiles on students faces when they received their SEATs! seatproject.org/school/matthew…

Y4 Rosebery Primary School NT learnt about non-profit orgs thru @seatproject Whilst researching,diverted to schools & lack of resources.Auctioned off decorated SEATs at school community event to donate raised funds to Grace Divine School Malaita Province🇸🇧seatproject.org/school/roseber…

Grace Divine School Malaita Province 🇸🇧 has no electricity or water except for mountain stream tap outside for washing,bathing,drinking. School is far from town,no teaching resources except for bits of paper&stubs of crayons,students have no games or toys.seatproject.org/school/roseber…

Due to freight being so expensive, the Year 4 students of Rosebery Primary NT thought it best to transfer money directly to the school where these basic needs for the students could be purchased locally.seatproject.org/school/roseber…

Y5/6 sts Hopetown School completed SEAT build, investigated bamboo as a sustainable resource, built own model bamboo homes, researched life in the Solomon Islands, gained an insight into their lifestyle and became interested in helping families & schools. seatproject.org/school/hopetow…

3rd year for Y5 to take on @seatproject @hillsgrammar W.event planning,art showcasing,community engagement, fund-raising,these committed sts professionally & proudly facilitated @seatproject to contribute $7351.65 from entire project. Handed heavy cheque to @OrangeSkyAU showers!

Y5 St Luke’s Grammar School Dee Why led an awesome S.E.A.T Project this year! They had a huge decision making challenge. Not only did they need to consider the wise outcome of their own S.E.A.T Project, they needed to incorporate the 2018 (current Year 6) project into theirs!

St Lukes Grammar Dee Why Y5 decision culminated into SEAT auction of decorated SEATs raising well over $1500! Funds allowed to freight Y6’s SEATs (18 in total) to “Little Friends of Michele” Montessori School in Bwa Leta,Saint Marc,Haiti. Remaining funds 2use in school community.

Group of stage 3 students from @CootamundraPS enjoyed the S.E.A.T Project through a learning & well-being program led by their school chaplain.

SEAT showcase @hillsgrammar Incredible display! Excited students professionally, proudly spoke about @seatproject & guest from Orange Sky Showers accepted the love. Hills Grammar community bid on SEATs 2raise funds4 @OrangeSkyAU Over $2600 so far with Market Day still to come.
