@mlgreer89 I struggled with overwatering in the beginning. Once I switched to a fish fertilizer and corrected the nitrogen deficiency they really started taking off. Water less, mist daily. Roots love air as well!

Brown Beef in Large stock pot. Remove beef, add 2 tbsp tomato puree and brown. Deglaze with 12oz red wine and 2 tbsp vinegar. Reduce by half. Add Beef and 4 cups beef stock of your choice, with 1 tbsp garlic. Low Simmer 15 minutes. Now get your stock pot!

Rustic Beef Stew: Transfer to crock pot with rest of veggies and potatoes. Cook low 3-1/2-5 hours. If you do not have a crock pot simmer low for two hours.

Rustic beef stew: One onion, 4 celery stalks, 3 Carrots, 4 red potatoes, 4 mushrooms, 2 pounds beef tossed in 1/4 cup flour, pinch salt and pepper. Now go grab a big pot!
